2009 Events Coming Our Way! Don't forget to plan to visit our Annual Sidewalk Sale June 26-28! The Tenth Annual Retreat was held June 19 - 22, 2009.And Barry Klein of Trendsetter Yarns was our guest, teaching, sharing ideas and inspriation and displaying new items from Trendsetter for us. Saturday, October 4th, we held the First Acorn Street Bus Tour. This all day excursion allowed us to socialize, do needlework, and enjoy the Fall colors of Stevens Pass and Tumwater Canyon with a shopping stop in Leavenworth, WA as well as a tour/shopping stop at Fiber Trends Warehouse in Wenatchee. Designed by Joanne Clark for Fiber Trends, The Tech Square Afghan Booklet offers 12 skill-building squares in a 52 page booklet. It is designed to give both old and new knitters a chance to try skills they may have found intimidating or that they simply want to try on a smaller scale before attempting a whole garment.
