Designed by Vanesa Polo

This unusual but simple asymmetric triangular shawl makes the most of the wacky self-striping properties of Crazy Zauberball. A triangle and a parallelogram combine to create a unique wing shape that drapes effortlessly around the shoulders. Each wing uses a two-row repeat in garter stitch, making this easy-to-knit shawl perfect for knitting in social situations.

Approximately 13” deep at front, 35” long side of triangle, 27” long side of parallelogram

1 skein Crazy Zauberball (75% Superwash Wool / 25% Nylon, 100 grams, 459 yards)

US 5 (3.75mm) circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge, either 24” or 32” length. The shawl is worked flat but a circular needle will accommodate the large number of stitches needed.

20 stitches and 22 ridges (44 rows) = 4 inches in garter stitch. Gauge is not critical; select a gauge that provides the preferred fabric drape.
